Abstract

Learning is an activity carried out to make students have better learning abilities through structured principles. This structured learning activity can be obtained through the implementation of scientific literacy in learning. Scientific literacy is the ability of students to use scientific steps in learning activities. The implementation of scientific literacy in learning is carried out based on existing facts and data. With scientific literacy, it is hoped that students can build reasoning and critical analysis skills that will be used as provisions to face the challenges of 21st century development. This research was carried out with the aim of knowing how the implementation of scientific literacy has been carried out in schools, especially in learning biology. The method used in this study is a systematic literature review (systematic literature review). Based on the results of the literature analysis, it is known that the implementation of scientific literacy in biology learning uses a scientific approach. By using a scientific approach, it can be a means to improve students' literacy skills.
