Abstract

 

Jaringan epidermis adalah sistem sel-sel yang bervariasi struktur dan fungsinya, yang seluruh permukaan luar tubuh tumbuhan secara berkesinambungan. Stomata merupakan derivat (turunan) epidermis yang berasal dari hasil pembelahan protoderm. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tipe stomata berdasarkan jumlah dan susunan sel tetangga pada daun Fragraria vesca L., Malus sylvestris Mill., dan Rosa hybrida L.. Dari ketiga species dari familia Rosaceae tersebut memiliki tipe stomata yang sama yaitu tipe stomata anomositik.
