ANALISIS SIKAP DAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA RENTANG UMUR 15-22 TAHUN TENTANG PENYAKIT KECACINGAN

Worm disease are disease caused by parasitic worms. Some areas in Indonesia have a high prevalence of helminth infection, which is between 60-90%. This study aims to determine the attitudes and knowledge of adolescents aged 15-22 years about helminthiasis. This study used a descriptive method with data collection in the form of questionnaires, the number of respondents was 100 people spread across Jambi, West Sumatra and Jabodetabek areas. Data analysis shows 95% of respondents already know about helminthiasis. The attitude of the respondents based on the level of education, namely S1/D3, (36 respondents, 52%) had a very good attitude in preventing helminthiasis. The attitude of the respondents based on age showed that respondents aged 20-21 years (34 respondents, 48%) had a good attitude. The level of knowledge of respondents based on education, namely S1/D3 (49 respondents, 68%) has less knowledge. The level of knowledge of respondents aged 20-21 years (47 respondents, 66%) have less knowledge. This study shows that respondents have a good attitude to prevent helminthiasis but still lack knowledge of worm cases.
